About Janale!

Janale is a singer, songwriter, actress, model, and dancer based out of Sacramento, CA. She was born and raised in Houston, TX. She is of Filipino descent and is the first generation American on her maternal side. At the young age of 3, Janale loved performing. You could find her performing the whole “Dreaming of You” Selena album in front of party guests. Throughout her early years, she was in church choir, church plays, musicals, school choir, and beginner piano. In High School, she was on the dance team where her love of dance started. Janale had the opportunity of performing at Disney World and singing at American Idol Disney.

During her college years at Texas State University, she was a Texas State Strutter and was on the hip hop dance team, Sample Stylz. She knew at a young age she wanted to be an entertainer but it was highly discouraged by her family. To question or have an opinion of your future that was different than your parents was considered disrespectful. After becoming a Registered Nurse and building a family, Janale went on a journey of rediscovery and rekindled her desires to be an entertainer that laid dormant for too long.

Janale’s heart and desire is to use her success as a platform to encourage those who feel silenced, defenseless, lost, or unsure. Her dream is to open doors for Filipinos in the entertainment industry because Filipinos are under represented in the US. Her desires are for her kids to hear music and see film from people who were cut from the same cloth. She wants to help women find their voice and their calling and inspire them to “go and do it” no matter what age, ethnicity, season of life, or race one is in.

Outside of the entertainment world, Janale is a dog mom and a mother of 2. She is the oldest and only daughter of 4 siblings. Traveling, working out regularly, discovering new foodie places, volunteering, scrap-booking, reading, playing video games, and leaving DIY projects unfinished are some of the many things she enjoys doing.
